About

When I overheard a client respond to her friend that was complimenting her look by saying “I’ve been Punched” I knew we’d had fun while creating recognisable results.

I’ve rarely been late to fashion’s newest ‘must have’ items. Living and breathing fashion retail since 2001 has seen to that. I’ve had the joy of working with Zara and French Connection, with designers like Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton at Harrods, and with Ralph Lauren. From shop windows, to private clients, to ‘papped’ celebs, I’ve dressed a very long list of wonderful clients.

Knowing what fits and suits an individual comes from these fabulous years in the depths of the fashion industry where I worked one on one with all shapes, sizes and personalities!

And although I left behind my glamourous London life for family life in the country after having my girls I knew I had to get back in to fashion and styling. It is my love as much as my material weakness. But most importantly, I know that isn’t the case for everyone. For a lot of my clients, what to wear is a daily stress factor. For others, they just want a guiding hand.

Years of dressing and personal shopping for famous faces

Years and years of working with both fast-fashion and luxe-fashion brands and personalities has taught me everything I know about dressing, wearing and carrying a look, styling to shape, and wearing colour. I feel privileged to have had such broad fashion retail experience and fabulous training when I worked in-house for fashion brands. And now I am privileged to work with fabulous individuals to rediscover their style mojo.

I started Lindsay Punch Styling in 2015 to carry on doing what I love doing, working with real men and women to create effortless style, build confidence and help others feel great about how they look. At the time, I was personally experiencing a post baby body and a wardrobe that didn’t fit plus very little time to get dressed.

I knew I needed to get to grips what I had and then create a wardrobe I could work with at a glance. I retrained with international stylist Emma Jane Welling at the SOS Training Academy and with celebrity stylist, Casey Paul.

Individually tailored style sessions

My style sessions are tailored to you, your style needs, time and budget. And we have a lot of fun along the way!

But it’s not all about you – I take huge pride in seeing my clients’ confidence transform, whether from a complete image makeover, personal shopping experience, refining an existing wardrobe, doing someone’s colours or improving their skincare & makeup routine.

When I’m not working with a client or hosting a body image or skincare party, I can be found writing monthly style articles for the Sherborne Times, holding regular style events at Kilver Court Designer Village in Somerset and occasionally on BBC Wiltshire or Sherborne’s Abbey 104 commenting on the latest trends and star-studded events.

And while my husband would happily not have our house in Dorset looking like a styling studio or makeup suite some days, this is the life for me. His naval career takes us all over the country and we cross paths with so many fascinating people. Plus, we have a wonderful support network for our family life with our two young daughters; it’s a community I’m proud to include in my client list.
